During the Apollo moon flights from 1961 to 1972, almost 400,000 people were employed in the US alone to get astronauts safely to the moon and back.

This innovation and transformation phase has not yet been completed. The effects are noticeable in engineering services, in organizational and information processes or in the methods of data analysis. The foundations of artificial intelligence were also laid back then. Apollo is omnipresent. Even in our language, we use expressions like “this is the next moonshot” or “this is like rocket science”. We are expressing to this day that the first flights to the moon were obviously of fundamental importance and required great efforts.

The idea of landing on the moon became a reality through ubiquitous communication at that time. Many campaigns have contributed to the enthusiasm of society, companies, consumers, employees and partners. Communication was a decisive success factor.

This is the start of the Training Camp for the Next Moonshot (T.C.N.M.)

We want to get fit and develop the enthusiasm factors of Moonshots for the current challenges in the next few weeks. What can we learn, what should we improve and who do we need to involve. The training camp is the beginning of an open learning, participation and exchange forum.

The journey starts.

Stay tuned.
